Contact me

I’m Megan, I’m a qualified MBACP registered Integrative Counsellor, based in the South Wales Gwent area, which in short means I am able to blend different therapeutic approaches to suit your unique circumstances.

A young woman with light brown hair in a loose bun and light skin, smiling slightly, sitting in front of a bookshelf filled with colorful books.

What do I mean by therapeutic approaches?

This is where I integrate aspects of different theoretical approaches to suit you, for example, a person centred approach would encourage your story to be heard with empathy and understanding.

A cognitive behavioural approach focuses on how our thoughts impact how we feel and how we behave.

A psycho-dynamic approach looks at how our relationships have shaped who we are, and how we understand the world.

What does this look like in practice?

For some, that means traditional talking therapy in a calm, private space.

For others, it could involve, walking and talking or incorporating somatic (body-based) techniques to help work through emotions and support with emotional regulation.

It could be that using creative outlets like art or writing maybe helpful.

Your journey is unique, and I’m here to support you in finding the approach that feels most natural to you

My clinical experience

I have 4 years of experience supporting people who have experienced domestic abuse, trauma and other forms of emotional distress, within an domestic abuse organisation.

This means I work from a compassionate trauma informed positioning, with a focus on rebuilding self esteem, emotional safety and empowerment.

I’ve worked within a EAP (Employment based programme) organisation, supporting  professionals who have experienced work related stress, anxiety, depression and burnout.

I’ve worked with Cruse Bereavement services providing bereavement support.

Whether you're navigating the aftermath of trauma, depression, anxiety, loss, relationship issues or other complex emotional experiences.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where inner change can begin at your pace.
