I’m Megan, I’m a qualified MBACP registered Integrative Counsellor, based in the South Wales Gwent area, which in short means I am able to blend different therapeutic approaches to suit your unique circumstances.

Hi I'm Megan, I’m a qualified MBACP registered Integrative Counsellor, which in short means I am able to blend different therapeutic approaches to suit your unique circumstances.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, or a sense of feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it on your own.  I offer a safe, supportive space, where together, we can make sense of your experience and work towards finding the right path forward for you.

The aim is that by exploring your experiences, we can gain some insight and understanding into our patterns of relating to ourselves and the world around us, with the aim of supporting you to make meaningful and lasting changes.

My clinical practice

I have a special interest in working with issues around self-esteem, anxiety and relational trauma recovery. I’ve had the privilege to support survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and childhood abuse. This experience has reinforced my belief in the resilience of those who have lived through trauma and informs the compassionate trauma informed way I work. I understand that the effects of relational trauma can be profound, often affecting your self-esteem, relationships, trust in others, and sense of safety. My focus is to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic space where we can work toward recovery at your own pace

My practice is neurodivergent affirming, and I seek to honour and understand your unique ways of thinking, feeling, communicating, and experiencing the world. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or self-identify and are exploring the possibility of being neurodivergent, you will be met with curiosity, respect, and acceptance. Disclaimer - my role is not to diagnose.

I’ve worked within an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), supporting professionals experiencing work-related stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout. I understand the impact that prolonged pressure can have on your well-being and work alongside you, to support recovery and restore balance so you can reconnect with your personal and professional values.
